Estimates are informational

The cost ranges shown by Smart Decking Calculator are estimates based on average market data. They are not quotes. Always confirm pricing with at least 2–3 licensed contractors before signing any contract.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy of pricing, fitness for a particular project, or any specific outcome.

Deck design is governed by your local building code. Span tables, footing depths and railing heights on this site follow the published sources cited on each page, but your building department has the final say, and structural questions belong with a licensed contractor or engineer.

Liability

Smart Decking Calculator, its operators, and contributors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site or estimates provided.

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, abuse, reverse-engineer, or use the site for any unlawful purpose. You must be at least 13 years old to use the site.

Embedding the calculator

You may embed the deck cost calculator on your own website free of charge using the code on the embed page. Please keep the iframe and its attribution link unchanged and don't present the calculator as your own product. We may update or retire the widget at any time.

The text, calculators, charts, images and code on this site belong to DixonAppStudio LLC or its licensors. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. Copying whole pages or the calculators' logic into another product is not allowed without written permission.
